My name is frugalmom and I have a love for Post-It's.
They make me happy.
Why? Because I love to be organized. And they help me in this endeavor.
I love these small, skinny ones to mark pages in books, notebooks, etc.
I love these that are shaped like big arrows. However, right now I am pretending that they are shaped like houses. And I am using them like crazy as I try to get all my ducks in a row to move across the country.
I get a bit sentimental when the plain ol yellow ones make it out of the drawer.
I have packs that arent even out of the package yet. You know, just in case.
And who doesnt love a great pair of shoes.
So, imagine my joy when I find this stuck on the dining room table waiting for me.
I had sent K to school armed with questions that needed answering. And get them answered, she did.
Sigh. Its clear. K realizes early on just how lovely a Post-It is.

Oooh...Post-Its rock!
I use the super skinny ones to date my eggs I gather each day in my egg cartons and to mark recipes in cookbooks that I want to try. I use the great big ones to write down addresses and phone numbers and stick them in my address book. I use the small decorative ones to mark photos and magazines with my (silly) comments. There is no end for their usefulness!
These will get you to Washington for sure. (Have you ever noticed, though, how freakishly expensive they are??!!)
Marcee, I can honestly say that I have never used or bought a post it note before. I never thought of putting the skinny ones(didn't even know they made them)in my cookbooks. I always just write the page numbers of the recipes on a piece of paper and put it in the front of the book. Thanks for the idea Farmgirl. I just may go and buy some. Kelly
You make me smile. :)
Danni, I just write the date right on the egg with a pencil (well, I used to).
You guys crack me up! I like post its too, but obviously not quite as much as you do. Ha! Although, the last time I bought some, it was a mega sized variety pack at Costco or Sam's Club that included bright colors as well as my favorite lovely pastels. Well, maybe I do actually love post its as much as you do after all. Sigh.
I drool over anything I can buy in a stationary store. Keep post-its in the car, you can leave notes right on your steering wheel!
I've used Post-Its at work for many years, but I never really use them around the house..... I make lists. Lots of lots of lists. But you know, now that I think about it, I make lists on a post-it tablet that has a magnet on it and hangs on the refrigerator. So I guess I DO use them around the house - without even realizing it.
