A small road trip

Yesterday we had to take a little road trip. It was time for Darby to go in to get spayed.

She was not that happy about the whole thing.

She couldnt seem to find that one perfect spot during the car ride.
So, she tried out a few.

I could tell she was sleepy, but she had a hard time giving in.

Eventually she did tho and she took a little nap.

While she napped, we had some lunch. S had a ham and cheese on white.

I had a PB and J on honey oat bread.

G played a great game of travel hide and seek.

And J, well, he made himself comfortable.

Just ears.

We saw little pups while we were there to drop Darby off.

And G made a new friend.

I will call tonight after she gets picked up from the vet to check and see how everything went...and we will pick her up in the morning. I cant wait to have her back home.

Hi, I came across your blog last week and have spent time over the last few days reading through your archives. I've enjoyed reading about you and your family! I was interested in your menu maker and saw that you had a link on your blog for it but when I clicked on it, the download link was inactive. Are you still offering to share this program?

Thanks so much!!

Ahhh,I hope she feels alright once she gets home. She needs lots of treats to make up for this business.

Just how far away is your vet? Not that you need an excuse for a road trip with sandwhiches.

Who is that dirty scruffy looking thing in the last pic. You didn't replace Darby already did you? ;-)

Awwww. Poor little Darby. I know you'll be happy to get her home. Kiss her little ears for me.

She has got to be one of the cutest pups on the planet. If you ever need a babysitter.....

How's the spay go? I hate the worry all day while you wait for word from the vet.

Aw, my favorite pic is the one of her yawning. Ugh...the spay date is such a stressful one. It will be good to have it over and done with and kudo to you for being a responsible pet owner and having it done!
Yay for peanut butter and jelly. But where are the bbq chips?
p.s.
I love her pretty blue new collar.

So ok, you get us all worried about little Darby and then don't tell us how she did with her surgery??? Is she home now? Is she ok? And what kind of sandwiches did you make for the trip to go get her?
