This baby praying mantis is on some of my day lilies in the front yard. We actually found 3 egg sacks this past fall and early this spring. We put them in a safe place in the garden...they must be hatching! This is the only one we have spotted so far, tho.
He really was just sitting there taking it all in.

We LOVE these little guys! I just think they're the cutest!
We were sitting outside at my parents yesterday and I had a teeny tiny one crawling on me. I gingerly put it down on the ground to continue on its way.
Even funnier was that minutes later - there was one crawling on my husband's (bald) head!
Cool...never seen one before.
