Oh my, it's a sad day. I think I only have three left. Fall is too far away.
Looks lovely. I have canned applesauce in the past, but not for a few years now. Enjoy it while it lasts.
You'll have to double it this fall.. I know G loves that stuff.. Lets see.. Mich. trip for blueberries, apples.. good times this fall

I have never canned applesauce before. Can you do it in a water bathe or do you need a pressure canner? Do you add spices and sugar?Kim
Isn't it sad? Using up the last of home canned stuff just makes me eager for spring and summer to hurry along.
Yummmmmm, home made apple sauce.... we made apple pie filling one year and Bernie ended up using every bite of it to put on top of his vanilla ice cream. Apple-anything goes over pretty well around here. Sounds like you'll be busy next fall!Penny
So I noticed yesterday that the little tree/fruit farm on the way to my house just put up a sign announcing an "apple sale". 5 lbs for $3.49. Want me to email you some Oregon apples? :-)
