Survival of the fittest
K had her annual birthday sleepover this weekend. I managed to make it out alive! Even if I ended up walking around half asleep the next day. Girls....we all remember those all nighters, right? Seeing who could stay up the longest, snacking all night, playing practical jokes, laughing, and carrying on.
As a mom, that 5 am bedtime just doesnt seem to be as enjoyable.

Did anyone get their bra frozen? We had to hide ours in the bottom of our sleeping bags when we were growing up, lest they be soaked in water and turned into bra-sicles by morning.
The overnighters I went to always included dipping the hand of the first girl to fall asleep in a pan of warm water...supposedly that was supposed to make them wet their sleeping bag. Funny, huh?
Hmmm...it used a be a lot funnier when I was 12. :-)
Ladies: They did both of those things when I attended sleepovers. Sadly, when I was 12 Im pretty sure I didnt need a bra.
Oh God, I miss those sleepover days! We used to take pictures of the first girl to fall asleep with all kinds of weird stuff on her back, cans of soup, stuffed animals, etc.
